Boursa Kuwait falls 18.98 pts at Sunday’s close
The benchmark price index declined 0.29% or 18.98 points to 6,620.40 points

Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait ended Sunday’s trading session in the red, as seven sectors dropped amid thin trade.

The benchmark price index declined 0.29% or 18.98 points to 6,620.40 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices dropped 0.44% each.

Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity decreased to KWD 15.49 million on Sunday from KWD 19.82 million in the previous session after the trading volume shrank to 142.96 million shares from 152.63 million.

Oil and Gas sector topped seven losers with 1.79%, dragged by The Energy House Holding and Gulf Petroleum Investment, which dropped 8.89% and 0.63%, respectively.

Similarly, the financial services sector lost 0.62% as Kamco Investment Company slid 12.63%.

The banking sector inched down 0.04% after National Bank of Kuwait decreased 0.52%.

Meanwhile, the technology sector led the market's three gainers with 1.63%, encouraged by Automated System which hiked 8.57%.

KGL Logistics, which declined 0.51, topped the bourse in terms of trading volume with 17.4 million shares, while Mobile Telecommunications, which went down 1.81%, led the market in terms of liquidity with KWD 2.2 million.
