Mubasher:  Europe’s consumer confidence eased more than expected in February, flash estimates by the European commission showed.

Confidence in the Eurozone dropped by 1.3 points to 0.1 points, compared with economists’ forecasts of a slighter decrease to 1.0 points.

Meanwhile, the European Union’s (EU) consumer confidence fell by 0.7% to -0.3%.

The euro last slipped 0.46% against the US dollar to $1.2350.
