Mubasher: Kuwait Telecommunication Co (Viva) held a board meeting on Tuesday to form a new board chaired by Mahmoud Ahmed Abdul Rahman, representing the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA).

Amin Fahad Al Shiddi was elected as the deputy chairman of Viva. Al Shiddi represents the Saudi Telecom Company (STC), according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.

STC owns the largest stake of 51.8% in Viva’s capital which stands at KWD 49.94 million distributed on 499.4 million shares.
