Mubasher: Arabi Group Holdings achieved a leap of 439.4% in profits during the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period last year.

Earnings grew to approximately KWD 293,370 ($968,600) in Q2-18 from about KWD 54,390 ($179,600) in Q2-17, according to a bourse statement on Tuesday.

During the first half of 2018, the Kuwaiti company recorded a jump of 436.3% in profits to nearly KWD 303,810 compared to around KWD 56,650 in the same half last year.

Arabi Group clarified that the growth in H1 profits is attributed to an incline in revenues.
