Mubasher: Uber Technologies has reported a 24% year-on-year decrease in its losses for the second quarter of the year, on the back of higher revenues.
Losses reached a total of $404 million in Q2-18, as shown by the company’s financial statements on Wednesday.
On the other hand, revenues grew 32% compared with the first quarter, reaching $2.7 billion, recording a 51% increase compared with the same period last year.
Uber is seeking expansion in India and the Middle East, despite the high costs.
Uber Eats, a new service provided by the company for food delivery, grew by around 200% in one year.
