Mubasher: Kuwait-based Hayat Communications on Sunday said posted a 211.2% year-on-year surge in profits for the fourth quarter of 2018.

The company’s profits reached KWD 172,480 ($568,160) during Q4-18, up from KWD 55,420 ($182,560) in Q4-17, according to a bourse statement.

Hayat Communications’s profit leaped 63.7%, logging KWD 275,380 during the full-year 2018, compared to KWD 168,220 a year earlier.

The firm attributed the major rise in 2018 earnings to a growth in revenues by KWD 1.25 million.
