Riyadh – Mubasher: A consortium comprising Saudi Ground Services Company as well as Saudi Services and Operations Company has been awarded an operation and maintenance contract at a total value of SAR 342.76 million.

Upon the contract awarded on 11 April, the two companies will team up to operate and maintain passenger bridges at King Abdulaziz International Airport for five years, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.

The Saudi listed company, which owns a 51% stake in the consortium, noted that the financial impact will reflect starting from the second quarter (Q2) of 2022.

The signing of the contract is expected to take place on 19 May.

It is worth mentioning that Saudi Ground Services inked a contract with EgyptAir during the Dubai Airshow 2021.
