UAE stock markets close Monday's session on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by 2.64% to close Monday's session at 3,287.10 points.

A total of 134.57 million shares were traded through 6,446 transactions valued at AED 341.37 million.

Emirates Refreshments Company led the rising stocks with 14.77%, while Al Salam Bank - Sudan topped the losing stocks with 7.14%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index retreated by 1.78% to settle at 9,407.3 points by the end of Monday.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.45 billion after 228.62 million shares had been traded through 11,049 transactions.

Abu Dhabi National Co. for Building Materials (Bildco) headed the green zone with 9.44%, while Emirates Insurance Company came on top of the red zone with 9.43%.
