Riyadh – Mubasher: Global tech event LEAP announced significant themes to be addressed during the second edition, which will be held at Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre during 6-9 February 2023 under the title ‘Into New Worlds’.

The 2023 edition will touch upon various topics such as the creative economy, financial technologies (fintech), smart cities, health technology (healthtech), the fourth industrial revolution (4IR), future energy, and retail.

The four-day event is organised by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones (SAFCSP), as well as Al Tahaluf Real Estate Company.

A number of major government and private agencies in addition to technology and communications firms will also participate in the event, the SPA news agency reported.

More than 700 male and female speakers from over 50 countries will take part in the second edition of the conference, which will welcome above 900 local and international companies.

Meanwhile, the DeepFest platform will launch its activities during the conference on 7 February under the theme ‘Beyond Imagination’. It will introduce artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives and highlight the latest innovations in many sectors, including metaverse, non-fungible token (NFT), space technology, and women's empowerment in the tech industry.

LEAP has a vital role in attracting tech firms and investments to Saudi Arabia, besides being a key player in the digital transformation process locally and globally.
