Cairo – Mubasher: Misr Fertilizers Production Company (Mopco)witnessed 67% higher standalone net profit after tax at EGP 4.77 billion in the first half (H1) of 2023, versus EGP 2.85 billion in H1-22.

Non-consolidated revenues hit EGP 3.11 billion in January-June 2023, down 7% from EGP 3.35 billion during the same period a year earlier, according to the financial results.

In the first six months (6M) of 2023, the basic earnings per share (EPS) climbed by 67% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 20.84 from EGP 12.47.

During the three-month period that ended on 31 March 2023, the EGX-listed firm logged standalone net profits after tax valued at EGP 3.92 billion, compared to EGP 2.03 billion in Q1-22.

Revenues dropped to EGP 1.50 billion in Q1-23 from EGP 1.60 billion in 3M-22, whereas the basic and diluted EPS hiked to EGP 17.14 from EGP 8.89.
