Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices ended Tuesday with mixed performance after achieving outstanding performance in the first session after Eid El-Fitr holiday.

The EGX30 main index declined by 0.73% to close at 29,400.84 points.

On the other hand, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI jumped by 0.86% to stand at 6,754.02 points.

The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.51% to end at 9,632.94 points.

EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 4.52 billion after 1.42 billion shares were traded, while the market cap value reached EGP 1.98 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were the net buyers with EGP 276.02 million. The Arab and foreign investors were the net sellers with EGP 101.79 million and EGP 174.22 million, respectively.
