DFM, ADX collectively rise on Thursday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 35.24 points (0.84%) on Thursday and ended the trading session at 4,208.17 points.

DFM’s turnover stood at AED 414.17 million through the exchange of 208.70 million shares.

Emaar Properties registered the highest trading value of AED 86.33 million.

Ithmaar Holding, which topped the risers with 8.71%, was the most active stock with 57 million shares.

Meanwhile, Takaful Emarat Insurance led the falling companies with 2.19%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.189% at 9,182.47 points.

A total of 319.37 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 992.92 million, while the market cap value reached AED 2.83 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 192.48 million, whereas Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 118.31 million shares.

National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels advanced the gainers with 6.67%, while Ooredoo headed the losers with 9.31%.
