Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at the end of Wednesday’s session, with the EGX30 main index gaining by 3.36% to 25,270.55 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI tumbled 1.74% to close at 5,670.65 points.

The EGX100 EWI plunged by 2.25% to hit 8,117.48 points.

A total of 542.64 million shares were exchanged at a value of EGP 2.42 billion.

Moreover, the market cap value of EGX hit EGP 1.71 trillion at the end of the session.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were the net buyers with EGP 91.23 million. On the other hand, the foreign and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 64.89 million and EGP 26.34 million, respectively.
