UAE stock markets flag in red on Wednesday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session lower by 43.60 points (1.05%) at 4,093.25 points.

A total of 214.53 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 375.85 million.

Emaar Properties generated the highest trading value of AED 68.06 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 84.17 million shares.

National Industries Group Holding advanced the risers with 15%, whereas National General Insurance Company led the fallers with 10%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.408% to 9,021.46 points.

The turnover stood at AED 1.11 billion through the exchange of 372.12 million shares, while the market cap value reached AED 2.78 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 190.49 million, whereas Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 100.42 million shares.

Palms Sports topped the gainers companies with 14.17%, while Al Ain Ahlia Insurance headed the decliners with 10%.
