Jordan examines including SCC expenditures in budget
The Jordanian government is examining including the expenditures of the Social Security Corporation (SSC) in the general budget law. According to an official document, the General Budget Department is considering the possibility of implementing such a decision.

According to Al Arab Al-Yawm, SSC expenditures reached JOD 645 million in 2013, while its revenues stood at JOD 1.27 billion. The SSC assets amounted to JOD 6.4 billion by the end of 2013.

The Department is also examining transferring current expenditures including those of maintenance, repair and operations related to capital assets.
