WB ranks Iraq 156, Jordan 117 in report
According to Doing Business 2015 report released by the World Bank (WB), Iraq ranked number 156 out of 189 countries, while Jordan came in the 117th position.

The report shows quantitative indicators on business regulations that can be compared across 189 economies—from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. The report also investigates the regulations that improve business activity and those that restrict it.

It is worth mentioning that the Doing Business report measures regulations that impact 11 areas of a business life. This year’s ranking on the ease of doing business included ten of these areas: starting a business, getting credit, dealing with construction permits, protecting minority investors, paying taxes, getting electricity, registering property, enforcing contracts, trading across borders and resolving insolvency.
