New opportunities for Jordanian firms in Kazakhstan

New opportunities for Jordanian firms in Kazakhstan
During his participation in a press conference on the occasion of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakh Ambassador to Jordan Azamat Berdybai urged the Jordanian companies to invest in the Republic of Kazakhstan, reported Petra.

Several projects worth billions of US dollars will be carried out in the sectors of infrastructure, energy, roads and industry between 2015 and 2017, Jordan Times cited Berdybai as saying, adding that “Jordanian companies have the experience and they are invited to take part in bids for projects to be implemented in Kazakhstan.”

The launch of the railway link, which will connect Kazakhstan with Iran, would give new opportunities for trade with the Kingdom, Petra reported, quoting Berdybai as saying.

Kazakhstan has made many achievements and ushered in political and economic reforms throughout the past 23 years, Petra quoted Berdybai as saying, highlighting that his country came in the 49th place the World Bank's Ease of Doing Business rankings for 2014.

It is worth highlighting that the World Economic Forum (WEF) has ranked Kazakhstan 51st in its latest annual competitiveness rating of world economies, according to Berdybai.
