Jordan’s Planning Minister Ibrahim Saif announced on Monday that 2025 economic vision is anticipated to be launched in January 2015, reported the Jordan Times.
Saif said that “we have four main areas being tackled in the strategy.” One of these areas covers education, health and employment. Another area includes governance and means of developing public sector performance.
The “green paper” of the blueprint is ready to be revised by several steering committees before being released, highlighted Saif.
The Minister said that the plan will be implemented in three stages. The first and second stages would be executed within three years each, while the third stage would be applied in four years, ending in 2025.
King Abdullah directed the government earlier this year to draft an economic blueprint for 10 years to achieve economic development.
