An agreement was signed by the Jordan Hijaz Railway Corporation Director General Salah Lozi and Turkish State Railways Director General Suleyman Karaman to carry out a new railway project, according to the Jordan Times.

Furthermore, the railway project will help passengers travel from Amman and Zarqa to Queen Alia International Airport.

Lozi noted that the project will serve more than 250,000 passengers daily as well as reducing traffic congestion.
