Despite natural population growth, gross of employed persons in Palestine's local labor market was stable during 2014 when compared to 2013, according to preliminary estimates of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).



Worth noting, unemployment rate rose to about 27% during 2014 compared to 24% in 2013, reported PCBS. This shows the weak absorptive capacity of the local labor market.
