Amman-Mubasher: Khalid Toukan, head of the Jordanian Atomic Energy Commission, signed deal worth $10 billion with Russia's Rosatom Company to build the first nuclear power plant in the Kingdom.
Jordan will own 50.1% of the project, while Russia will maintain the remaining 49%.
Toukan noted that the project includes two nuclear power units, with a capacity of 1,000 megawatts each.
