Amman-Mubasher: Jordan and the German Development Bank (KfW) signed a soft loan agreement worth 30 million euros to finance the second segment of the Water Resources Management Programme in its third phase, according to planning and international cooperation minister Imad Najib Fakhoury.

Fakhoury added that the loan will be allocated to finance several projects aimed at improving water carriers, sewage networks and the reuse of the water provision system in Jordan.

The loan will be paid back within 15 years that includes a five-year grace period with a fixed interest rate of 2 per cent, said the minister.
