Mubasher: Refugees and other external economic shocks had a significant impact on the Jordanian economy, said Adnan Mizraai, deputy director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department at  IMF.

 “It is important that the international community shall support and assist Jordan to carry this burden, and the donors' conference to be held in London at the end of this week is an important opportunity for the international community to provide the necessary support to Jordan," he added.

Mizraai called upon the international community to convert its loans provided to Jordan to grants in order to help the country overcome these circumstances.
