The Tunisian Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Mining has planned to establish three large industrial areas in Mahdia, reported African Manager.
The three industrial zones, which are Chebba, Ouled Echamekh, and Souassi, will be built in collaboration with the Tunisian Ministry of Public Work.
Tunisia’s Minister of Industry Kamel Ben Naceur has recently declared that the industrial area of Souassi will be the largest, nationally, with a land space of 300 hectares near the highway.
According to African manager, Naceur noted that "The specificities of the region will make the area one of the largest development projects in Tunisia."
