Tunis – Mubasher: The Tunisian Bourse has announced that Bilel Sahnoun has been appointed as Director General of the North African bourse.

Sahnoun succeeds Mohamed Bichiou who held the position of Director General of the Tunisian Bourse since 2008. The new Director previously held the position of Director General at SICAME.

Tunisia’s benchmark index rose on Monday backed by seven sectors led by the banking sector. The index closed at a 0.3% rise, adding 15.84 points and closing at 5345.60 points, registering its third successive rise.
