Tunis- Mubasher: The benchmark index of Bourse de Tunis rebounded from its slump in Wednesday mid-session, ending 0.15% or 8.03 points higher at 5361.11 points, compared with 5353.08 points on Tuesday.

The index was buoyed by most sectors led by basic resources that rose 1.77%.

Tunindex20 also went up 0.25% to 2284.01 points.

Out of the 77 listed companies, 65 changed hands; 23 moved higher, 29 moved lower, while 13 remained unchanged.

The financial services led losing sectors with a fall by 0.87%.

As for stocks, Tunis Re was the top gainer with a rise by 2.88% to TND 8.19. Meanwhile Banque Nationale Agricole was the biggest loser with a drop by 3.45% to TND 9.5.

Wednesday’s turnover amounted to nearly TND 3.4 million, while traded volume reached 581.6 thousand shares.
