‘Smart Tunisia’ makes state competitive technological destination

Mubasher: Tunisia has launched its ‘Smart Tunisia’ project that aims to make the country a competitive destination in the field of technology, said Minister of Communication Noaman Fehri during a press conference.

The conference was attended by Zied Ladhari, minister of vocational training, and Wided Bouchamaoui, head of Tunisia's chamber of commerce.

During the event, 12 agreements were signed with foreign and local investors, which will create 3,100 job opportunities over the next months.

Fehri said ‘Smart Tunisia’ is a national project which aims to develop the transport services sector as well as offering 50,000 job opportunities to university graduates over the next five years.
