Entering the Moroccan Market, PayPal has recently established a partnership with Morocco’s Attijariwafa Bank to enhance the country’s exports, according to Paypal’s Head of Business Development for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region Francis Barel on the sidelines of the fifth Global Economic Summit held in Marrakesh.

“There is an immense opportunity for Moroccan entrepreneurs to approach overseas markets” thanks to PayPal’s large portfolio of more than 150 million accounts in 26 countries,” declared PayPal’s regional director of the MENA region and Turkey Onan Kivanc.

PayPal, an American international e-commerce business, projects that e-commerce operated worldwide will increase in the coming three years, reaching approximately $300 billion.

Notworthy, the Bank charges MAD 50 for subscriptions, and 0.125% for every e-business transaction.
