The agreement, which was on the field of agriculture, will enable the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture and Sea Fisheries to assist its Malian counterpart in identifying, elaborating, and implementing plans for agricultural development, food security amelioration, and the fight against poverty.

Noteworthy, the tripartite agreement was inked by the Moroccan Minister of Agriculture and Sea Fisheries Aziz Akhannouch, the Malian Minister of Rural Development Bokary Tréta, and the Director General of UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) José Graziano da Silva.
