Casablanca – Mubasher: Casablanca Stock Exchange (CSE) benchmark MASI ended Wednesday in the red, extending its early losses. The index lost 0.16%, to 10393.74 points and MADEX fell 0.16% to 8537.43 points.
Wednesday’s turnover amounted to approx. MAD 31.8 million, generated from exchanging 232.7 thousand shares in 593 transactions.

Eleven sectors moved lower, led by chemicals that fell 2.04%. insurance tailed the list with a slight decrease by 0.02%.

Meanwhile, eight sectors moved higher topped by paper and forestry that rose 9.97%, while electricity tailed the list with a gain of 0.1%.

As for stock performance, M2M was the biggest loser with 6.72%. On the flipside, Med Paper was the top gainer with a rise by 9.97%.
