Dubai-Mubasher: UAE’s low-cost airline Air Arabia reported a 13% profit decline to AED 59 million in the fourth quarter of 2015, compared to AED 68 million in the same quarter of 2014, according to a bourse filing on Monday.
Revenues rose 4% to AED 957 million in Q4-15, compared to AED 924 million in Q4-14.
The airline flew 2 million passengers in the final quarter of 2015, a rise of 17% from the corresponding 2014 figure.
In the fiscal year 2015, net profits declined 6% to AED 531 million from AED 566 million in the fiscal year 2014.
Air Arabia handled more than 7.6 million passengers in 2015, a 12% growth year-on-year.
