Dubai-Mubasher: Investors from Hong Kong and other parts of the Far East and Southeast Asia already purchased around 500 villas, apartments and land plots from Dubai developer Nakheel for around AED 188 million (HK$1.9 billion), said the company’s CEO Sanjay Manchanda in an interview with South China Morning Post.

Manchanda added that Chinese investors represented nearly 80% of these purchases with 390 transactions.

He went on to say that Indians are the biggest group of overseas investors with Nakheel as they spent AED 1.8 billion (HK$19.5 billion) to buy 4,400 properties.
