Egypt’s Minister of Industry and Trade Mounir Fakhry said small and medium enterprises in Egypt are significant opportunities to establish joint ventures with international financing institutions in SMEs, engineering industries and technical training, according to OKAZ newspaper.
Fakhry added that the government is committed to providing the necessary guarantees to attract local, Arab and foreign investments.
A Saudi delegation showed willingness to help the Egyptian government develop the textile industry to compete with its counterparts in India, China and Europe. The delegation offered to participate in establishing textile factories, the minister said.
