Bangin Rekani, Iraq’s Deputy Transport Minister, said that the Egyptian and Jordanian airlines agreed to continue their flights to Baghdad after making sure that the airport is safe for takeoff and landing. 


Rekani added that the incident in which a flydubai plane was hit by gunfire is accidental.


The suspension of flights to Baghdad by some transport companies is temporarily, Rekani added, highlighting that the number of flights departures and arrivals reached 50.
