Medical Union Pharmaceuticals said its board of directors has decided to commence studying both the investment efficiency and the economic viability of acquiring or merging with Medical professions for veterinary products and Fodders Additions Co. (muvco).

The company posted EGP124.8 million ($16.3 million) net profit for 2014 compared to EGP125.8 million ($16.4 million) for the corresponding period of previous year, with slight decline by 0.8%.

Also, the company has submitted earlier a request to The Egyptian Stock Exchange to undergo voluntary delisting.  

The company’s total shares amount to 31.34 million shares at EGP 10 par value each.
