Egyptian Starch and Glucose Co. posted EGP 16.4 million in consolidated net profits in the first quarter of 2015, compared with EGP 10 million for the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, the firm reported unconsolidated net profits of EGP 13.8 million for Q1-15, compared with EGP 8.8 million for the corresponding period of the previous year.

Egyptian Starch is capitalised at EGP 498.2 million, distributed across 49.8 million shares at EGP 10 par value each.
