Cairo – Mubasher: Arab African International Bank (AAIB) said Sunday its standalone net profits for the first quarter of 2015 rose 30.4% to EGP 402 million ($52.8 million), compared with EGP 308.4 million ($40.5 million) in the same period last year.

The lender recorded $82 million in net interest income, up from $45.95 million in the first quarter of 2014.

Net fees and commission income also increased to $23.33 million, from $19.29 million.
