A senior official from Belarus highlighted that his country seeks to intensify bilateral cooperation with Iraq, according to Iraqi News.

It is worth highlighting that Iraqi Ambassador Haidar Hadi met Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of Belarus’s House of Representatives of the National Assembly, on Wednesday.

“Belarus greatly values the friendly relations between our countries. We are ready for the most dramatic steps to intensify cooperation”, Andreichenko noted after the meeting, adding that “We believe that during this visit we could sign a cooperation agreement between the parliaments of the two countries. This agreement might give an impetus to cooperation in other fields.”
