The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani held a meeting with the new General Consul of Germany in Kurdistan Georg Enzweiler, during which they discussed various issues.
During the meeting, Enzweiler expressed his hope to bolster the political and economic relations between both countries, reported Bas News.
“A large number of German companies participated in the recent Erbil International Fair,” he noted, adding that “We will encourage German companies to work and invest in the Kurdistan region.”
On his part, Barzani said that “We pay special attention to all the support that Germany has provided to the Kurdistan Region, and we hope the support will continue.”
