Meanwhile , Food Inflation in Kuwait increased to 2.73% in September of 2014 from 1.81% in August of 2014.
Food Inflation in Kuwait averaged 5.18% from 2001 until 2014, reaching an all time high of 14.20 Percent in June of 2008 and a record low of -1.60% in September of 2001.
Inflation Rate in Kuwait averaged 3.06% from 1995 until 2014, reaching an all time high of 11.64% in August of 2008 and a record low of -1.15% in April of 1998.
In Kuwait, the main components of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) are: housing 26.8% , food 18.3% , transport and communication 16.1% and household goods and services 14.7%.
The index also includes other goods and services 9.9% , clothing and footwear 8.9%, education and medical care 4.7% and beverages and tobacco 0.6%. The national index has a base of 100 as of 2000.
