The board of Egypt Kuwait Holding (EK Holding) is studying today a decision to buy a gas field from a French company in the North of Suez, Egypt, according to Al-Rai newspaper.
Chairman Moataz Al-Alfi and a Kuwaiti delegation met with Egyptian Premier Ibrahim Mehleb last Sunday, to obtain his approval on buying the gas field, said a first-hand source at the company.
However, the source declined to give further details about the deal, because they will be officially announced in the board meeting minutes.
