Bader Nasser Al-Kharafi Deputy Chairman of Zain affirmed that Zain Iraq enjoys clear position at the law suit filed against it by the Communications and Media Commission of Iraq (CMC) , reported CNBC Arabia.

In late October , an Iraqi court has issued a verdict which obligates Zain Iraq to pay around $85 million to CMC.

CMC claims that zain shall pay this amount retroactively , as it considered a fees for using the microwave frequencies customized to it during the period from 2007 until the end of December 2013.

zain Iraq commented that , the verdict is not a final and it will appeal against it.
