Al-Aman Investment Company has approved its financial results for the year ended on December 31, 2014, registering an increase in its profits.

Al-Aman posted earnings worth KWD 3.73 million ($12.6 million) in 2014, compared to KWD 83.6 thousand in 2013.

Furthermore, the investment firm’s losses totaled KWD 475.1 thousand in Q4-2014 against earnings worth KWD 1.17 million in Q4-2013.

Al-Aman Investment pinpointed that such rise in annual earnings resulted from the sale of a subsidiary of Al-Aman for about KWD 5,000; the increase in management fees by KWD 591,000; the decrease in finance charges by KWD 419,000; and the decline in general and administration fees by KWD 181,000.

Noteworthy, the Board of Directors will hold a meeting later on to discuss the dividends distribution.
