The Central Statistical Bureau has issued the Kuwait’s Consumer Prices Index (CPI) monthly report for January 2015.
The report posted a growth in the CPI estimated at 2.81% in January 2015 compared to the corresponding period of 2014.
Meanwhile, on monthly basis, the index declined by 0.07 % in January 2015 against December 2014.
Using the year 2007 as the base year, the report noted that “The collection of monthly prices for a wide variety of items from over 455 retail outlets in the country requires co-operation of cooperative society’s managers, supermarkets, and other retail outlets.”
