Kuwait – Mubasher: The price per Kuwaiti oil barrel inched up by 0.03% at the closing of Wednesday’s trades to $46.97 per barrel compared to Tuesday’s closing at $46.94 per barrel, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

Oil prices grew on Wednesday following the Federal Reserve Bank’s announcement that it prefers to take the longer course towards raising interest rates.

Mixed Brent surged by $0.90 or 4.5% to $55.91 per barrel. US oil futures leaped $1.2 or 3% at settlement to $44.66 per barrel.
