Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait’s consumer price index rose in February by 2.89% year-over-year, according to official statistics body.

The Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) said in a report issued Wednesday that the rate was up 0.15% compared to January as a result of the increase in prices of some major groups with influential figures in the movement of the record low of some groups.
Seven major groups saw changes in February while five remained unchanged, according to the report.
Prices of food and beverages rose by 1.5% year-on-year, to hit 147.3%.
