Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwaiti telco Zain said the appeal council at Iraqi Communications and Media Commission (CMC) decided on 7 April to revoke a decision by CMC’s executive director obligating Zain Iraq to pay $162 million in claim.

The telecoms regulator has earlier claimed the amount as its share in Zain Iraq’s revenues that resulted from using a range of mobile phone numbers without CMC’s approval, the company said in a filing Thursday.
