Kuwait-Mubasher: Burgan Bank said on Saturday that it received the green light from the Central Bank of Kuwait to open a representative office in the UAE, namely the Dubai International Financial Centre.

Burgan Bank, Kuwait's third-largest lender by assets, noted in a statement that this new office will be reported in its registries at Kuwait’s central bank. It added that Burgan Bank has completed the essential procedures of acquiring approvals from the UAE authorities.

The bank network covers 28 branches in Kuwait and 236 branches across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
