Oman Air appoints new managers for Philippines, Indonesia
Oman Air has announced appoints two new country managers for each of its two new destinations, to which the airline will be flying to starting December 2014.

The Company named Ritchie Tuano as country manager for the Philippines, in readiness for the launch of three flights a week from Muscat to Manila on December 2, a Company press release revealed, adding that Iman Hartono was appointed the new country manager for Indonesia, to which Oman Air is set to launch three flights per week between Muscat to Jakarta starting December 12. A fourth flight is set to be operated starting January 2, 2015, a press release said on Monday.

Oman Air chief officer of sales Mahfood Ali Saleem al Harthy announced the appointments. Oman Air’s launch of the two new destinations signals the start of the Omani national carrier’s latest phase of ambitious expansion, which will see Oman Air expand its fleet from 30 aircraft to around 50 aircraft within a three-year timescale, the release noted.
