Global consultancy to the construction and engineering industries, Driver Group has been awarded a project management contract by the Sultanate of Oman’s Ministry of Transport and Communications.

Pursuant to the deal, Oman’s Driver Consult LLC will provide consultancy services for the management of the 272km-long Batinah Expressway, which also includes 247.5km of roads connecting the project to nearby towns, Construction Week Online reported.

The OMR 4.72 million ($12.2 million) contract will extend over a period of three years, while the project management team will consist of up to 26 consultants.
